Making The World Feel Magical

“The perfect holiday bauble…with the delectable sweet lightness of a theatrical macaroon. Every time Phillipa Soo sings, the stars in Paris’ night sky shine brighter. The music provides a magic carpet of orchestral strings upon which the production floats at will.” -- Charles McNulty, Los Angeles Times

Amélie captured our hearts in the five-time Oscar®-nominated film. Now she comes to the Ahmanson in a magical new musical—following a World premiere at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, which topped the Best Theatre of 2015 lists in the San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles Times. Embark on a mesmerizing journey with inquisitive and charmingly shy Amélie as she turns the streets of Montmartre into a world of her own imagining, while secretly orchestrating moments of joy for those around her.

Direct from her award-winning run in Hamilton on Broadway, Phillipa Soo is featured in Center Theatre Group’s pre-Broadway production of Amélie, A New Musical at the Ahmanson Theatre.

“Prepare to enjoy! If you dug the flick, the on-stage spectacular could be just what you’ve longed for to top this dessert-like story.” -- Alysia Gray Painter, NBC Los Angeles

“Phillipa Soo radiates every moment she’s on stage…a big, brilliant voice and that indescribable it factor!” -- Perez Hilton

Broadway alum Adam Chanler-Berat ('Peter and the Starcatcher') and more will join the previously announced Tony nominee Phillipa Soo in the musical adaptation of 'Amélie.' Adam Chanler-Berat & More to Join Phillipa Soo in Broadway-Bound 'Amélie' by Imogen Lloyd Webber Read More
