Passionate about the arts but need a steady paycheck?

Let's talk careers in arts and theatre administration.

Artists are multifaceted individuals, known for their resourcefulness and curiosity. These qualities are incredible assets at arts organizations! At Getting Started, you'll explore different roles and pathways within the business of the arts and theatre that engage these artistic senses while utilizing your administrative capacity.

Register today for an empowering day of workshops and conversations with industry professionals, connecting with your peers, and envisioning a fulfilling future in the arts.

REGISTRATION

This is a free event, but registration is required. Registration will close Tuesday, January 27.

We are prioritizing currently enrolled Community College students, but all currently enrolled undergraduate students and emerging professionals are welcome to register. Upon registration, you will receive an automated receipt of confirmation. If your registration is accepted, you will receive a separate email in early January with more information about your participation.

Who should register? If you are a current undergraduate student with interests in both the arts and another area of study – you should absolutely join us! While this event is open to people from all majors, we are especially focused on those that overlap with careers in theatre, which include:

  • Theatre, Performing Arts, Music, Art
  • Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
  • Education, Community Engagement, Public and Social Services
  • English, History
