Letter from CTG Leadership
Dear Center Theatre Group family,
Thank you for making last season one that exceeded even our boldest hopes. It was a record-breaking season, thanks to your support.
Our 59th season is driven by fearless storytelling, unforgettable characters, and artists who both capture this moment and shape what comes next. From Broadway and the West End to timeless classics and bold new voices, the 2026/27 Season is one we hope is destined for greatness and inspires you through belly laughs, touching moments of revelation, and celebration of community.
Our season kicks off with the world premiere musical The Turning, a haunting, folk-infused journey set among California’s sequoias at the Taper. At the Ahmanson, we welcome the wildly funny, Tony Award-winning Oh, Mary! straight from Broadway. These shows are followed by the exuberant Destiny of Desire by Karen Zacarías, the North American premiere of Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene’s acclaimed Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, Kimberly Belflower’s electrifying John Proctor is the Villain, and we end our blockbuster season by completing August Wilson’s celebrated Century Cycle at CTG with his towering masterpiece Fences and the joyful Broadway hit BOOP!® The Musical.
Our CTG:FWD programming expands the experience even further with special events and bonus shows, including the return of Dog Man: The Musical and Clue, as well as Meredith Willson’s The Music Man and Riverdance 30 – The New Generation—and this is all just the beginning with a lineup at the Kirk Douglas Theatre to be announced later this spring.
For priority early access to the best seats and the best pricing for a season of shows that you will only see at CTG, subscribe today! I look forward to seeing you at the theatre.
