The 2026/27 Taper Season kicks off with a world premiere musical, The Turning, a folk-infused, thrill ride set in a secluded wellness retreat amongst California’s famed sequoia groves. Next is the outlandishly funny telenovela play from the mind of Karen Zacarías, one of the country’s most produced playwrights. The season continues with Kimberly Belflower’s play John Proctor is the Villain, an explosive coming-of-age story, and closes out with the Pulitzer Prize-winning Fences, the final play of August Wilson’s celebrated “Century Cycle” to be staged here at CTG.
At the Taper, you’ll always get an intimate experience that puts you close to the action, allowing you to be fully immersed in the art onstage and to feel the energy of the audience around you. Step into this next season of extraordinary theatre at the most iconic venue in town.
Packages start at just $164 per person. Don’t miss this season!
