Letter from CTG Leadership

WELCOME TO OUR 2025/26 SEASON

This past year, you helped us reimagine Center Theatre Group by breaking down the walls

between the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and Kirk Douglas Theatre—and embracing bold storytelling and boundless imagination across our stages.

This season, we are dreaming even bigger. Our 2025/26 Season invites audiences to explore the extraordinary and embrace the transformative power of live theatre. The One CTG package features larger-than-life stories from Broadway sensations and boundary-pushing plays from some of the most acclaimed voices in American theatre. Plus, our CTG:FWD series continues at all three of our theatres, offering special add-on events and family programming.

Our 2025/26 subscription offering begins at the Ahmanson in August with the smash hit Broadway musical & Juliet, which puts a hilarious new spin on the greatest love story ever told, while set to the music of the biggest pop anthems of our time. At the Taper, we have an appointment with Jaja’s African Hair Braiding, the Tony Award-winning play from acclaimed Ghanaian American playwright, Jocelyn Bioh. Then, we serve up jump scares at the Ahmanson for Paranormal Activity, a terrifying new play based on the famed film franchise. We’ll kick off 2026 with Here Lies Love, a groundbreaking musical about Imelda Marcos’ unbelievable rise and fall from power in the Philippines, featuring songs from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim. The play will also mark my second time directing a show at the Taper. Then, at the Ahmanson is Kim’s Convenience, the hilarious and heartwarming award-winning comedy drama that inspired the Netflix hit. Next, Eboni Booth’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Primary Trust is at the Taper, and we return to the Ahmanson to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mamma Mia!

We are also dreaming up big things for the future as we develop some truly exciting plays and musicals that we hope you’ll be seeing on our stages in the years to come. More on that soon!

Subscribe to the 2025/26 One CTG Season today to secure your seats, receive the best pricing available, and continue this incredible journey with us.

Thank you for being a loyal CTG patron. We can’t wait to Dream Big with you at the theatre this season.
